Weekend Coffee

How was your weekend everyone?  I just can't believe how weekends fly so fast no? it's seems only yesterday when we are all uttering "thank God it's Friday" but's Monday again tomorrow, and I know most if not all people who works somehow hates Monday :) but Monday is inevitable and we have to face it whether we like it or not.

But I had a good weekend so far. I had a coffee break and a good chat  with friends with our now favorite coffee shop that is just around the neighborhood. Who wouldn't love a nice coffee shop just around the corner? and not to mention they offer equally good coffee like those of high end coffee shop too!

Sambrew -I'm falling in love with you :) hehe!

I also bought my self a new pair of shoes for only 200.00! Thank God for a very good Retail System in the country (if that has to do something with my good buy). was your weekend?

I know the last few weeks have not been good to me and I was not at my best either.

I've been missing my parents, I've been feeling bad/guilty for not being able to send some help for last month, in laws staying with us, getting sick and a stressful work ..What more can you expect?

But this morning I was surprised to see blessing in my email (and for the meantime I need not  check city payday loans ) and I am so much grateful on how He is just very perfect in timing and I realized, despite of the not so good happenings in my life, I am sill BLESSED. I mean, how often do you open your email and see that wonderful message "we have sent payment for you" unexpectedly and you stare at the screen of your computer and ask your self at least thrice "is this true"?

And I should not forget I have the most supporting husband anyone can ever have. And sorry but I have to say it again, I married God's best for me :)

DIY Wedding Cord

A friend who got married last April made her own cord, and although I did not made one for my self I knew a lot of bride are doing such so I kinda encourage her since she has no work and has lots of time in her hands during her wedding preparation, she obliged to my requests.

Surprisingly her DIY cord went well, very nice as she was able to choose the materials according to her preferences, and naturally she chose orange and green as this was their wedding color. I think she spent less than a hundred pesos here If I remember it right.

Here's a picture of the cord:

On being married

Lately, I've been having thoughts about marriage and when I say "having thoughts" that is of course very broad and wide-range and not that I have regrets marrying my husband but these "thoughts" were brought about of the recent problems we have had in both sides of the family. First, it was my brother, and our lives (and finances) were greatly affected, now his brother and his father and again our married life is being affected as we have to re-adjust our lives for them. And honestly speaking I'm becoming more and more disappointed.

When we moved to our place this year, small as it maybe and not as quite comfortable as the one we previously had, I was excited because finally after 4 years, we will be on our own. And true enough, we were like newlyweds again, fixing the room, buying stuff and like that.

But three months after, here we are again, with two more additional people in the house and to think we do not have spare room for them, heck we do not even have a room. His brother due to some untoward incidents came to live with us two weeks ago, last night, his father said he will be staying with us (though mostly to sleep lang daw).

You can just imagine my disappointment and frustrations. And honestly speaking I am wanting back the privacy of our home. I do not know until when can I hold on to the patience I have but I know I'm gonna snap sooner or later.

I don't want to make them feel naman na I don't like them because really I wanted to help especially my brother in law who is in school right now, I guess I just have to put some limitations or else it's my own marriage I'm going to sacrifice someday.

Friday Thoughts

1. Thanking God for weekend, off from work :)
2. Wishing I have money now so I can go home and visit my parents
3. Sunday's birthday celebration of dear granddaughter -which reminds me of the decoration (read: balloons) I promised daw. I do not know though if we could make it, I don't feel partying but I'm sure I'll miss the fun.
4. Blog/Domain problem (additional stress)
5. have to finish the "Undomestic Goddess" ebook I started last week, reminder also to install and download e reader in my tablet.
6. Food (that will make me happy)
7. Laundry
8. Walking as form of exercise with hubby (started last night)happy!!
9. Decision about ministry -which is becoming stressful also
10. Vacation- dreaming lang :)

Nope, this is not a meme but if you want to write about what's in your thought right now..go ahead and inform me so I can read it.

Wishing everyone a happy weekend!

Rocksdaily problem

My is currently down and much as I don't want to get mad at 1&1 from whom I bought the domain, it is so frustrating that they canceled that package without even informing me..grrrr, they should have inform me of what's happening with the account because all the while I thought it was okay.

Got an email now that they can not reinstate it anymore but I can transfer it from my active package.

My readers and followers were lost and I'm sorry.

I'm working on it and I hope it will be up and running before this day ends.

I love books and one of my dreams is to have my own library at home someday. It was sad that I have to give up some of my books because of moving from one place to another. Some I left at y parents home and I just hope it is safe because I do plan to get them when I have already my own house.

My love for books started when I became student assistant in the library way back in college. While most of my classmates are always on the look out of cheap text books and of those who are selling their pre owned text books, I need not worry because I was there right in the hub of the source of books in the university and I had all the access to all kind of books. And I grabbed that opportunity to read and read and read. It’s where I discovered my love for Agatha Christie and the like.

Today, I am so glad we have stores that do buy and sell pre owned books. It’s where I get my books now a day. Plus I make it a point to go to Book Fair once a year. I bought a lot from last year’s book fair (gave them as Christmas gifts)

(some of the books I bought last year)

And although I am currently reading ebooks, I will still not trade buying a real book and fulfilling my dream someday.

I'm back to reading. This past few days when I needed to divert my mind from all the problems I have, I found my self being entertained by books again. Although this time as my finances won't let me buy new books, I opted to buy ebook instead. It's cheaper but honestly I still prefer books that I can hold and put in my bookshelf.

Anyways, so my eyes are kinda strain from reading this last few days, add to that the apidexin reviews and such :).

I just finished "Can you keep a secret" by Sophie Kinsella and I started "Undomestic Goddess" by her also. Bought the Sophie Kinsella ebook bundle for only 50.00.

Do you read ebooks?
If you like the one I have, I can give it to you for free. Just message me :)

Blogging forever

It's time to renew this domain. Due actually within the week.
Which brought me back down memory lane of my blogging life. Of course I have mentioned many times how this blog has started and I need not tell again (you can actually just read from above)

And when I look back... I am more than grateful that I have learned the ropes of blogging. Not that I am an expert because up to this time I still have yet to learn SEO and PR, Blog optimization and such.

But I am extremely thankful because not only this blog of mine serves as my outlet, but it also turned out to be a financial blessing to me and to few friends whom I influenced into blogging.

And for that alone, I think I will be blogging forever :)
