Dentist appointment soon

I seriously need to see a dentist, no not a Plano dentist. A regular dentist will do. Why? When we were away I had a major tooth ache and I know it's from the teeth that has been overdue for extraction years ago.

The husband is ever faithful to remind me (well, at least every time it hurts) to have it done as soon as possible but the ever hard headed me always forget it (when it is not hurting anymore).

I wish I don't have to go, not because I don't want it extracted or I am afraid or sort of but mainly because it means spending money. Sigh

Have you been to your dentist lately? How many times do you go to your dentist? To tell you honestly I only go when I need it (read : really really need emergency) so making appointment to dentist is unusual for me.

But it is inevitable next week. Wish me luck then.

I have few works to finish and some pictures to upload so I'll probably be staying a bit late. I miss reading all the updates of my favorite blogs. I miss playing games in facebook.

Anyways, here are some of our last pictures in Kota Kinabalu :) Hope you enjoy them!!

(after 30 minutes)

what's wrong with blogger? Why can't I upload pictures? it says it's been upload but I cannot see it..

I have to wait people :)

Coming home

in 4 days and I can't wait. Tomorrow will be our last day in the village. I have mix feelings about this but I am writing this but I am writing that in my ministry blog.

This trip meant a lot for me and my husband. This was our very first mission trip together and we've learned a lot through this trip.

We've made new plans, we're praying for new things and we're looking on new direction now.

But still, Manila will always be our home, by saying Manila that means Philippines. There's no place like home. I guess I've said that many times. And even if I stay long outside I will still consider my country my home.

As a matter of fact, me and my friend whose with us here are thinking of new business when we get back home, a small food store or a clothing store are on the top of our discussion, I'm sure we will be needing a lot of stuff, money is number one, supplies such as the clothes to sell and things like mmf drawer or cash register and a lot more stuff. I just hope this plan comes to reality.

One thing for sure though..I'm counting my last days in my 8-5 job now. That's for sure.

We'll be leaving again for more mission trip and I know I can't always take a leave. That's unfair for the company.

But before all these...I have yet to come home.

In 5 days. See you all there!!!

It pays to read reviews

I think I lost weight. Not because I took any diet pills or anything, I will not take risk anymore specially that I read a lot of not so good reviews on diet pills, I actually just read this xenadrine reviews and it was kinda informative.

You know what? It pays to read reviews first before deciding right? I do that a lot.

I read reviews of hotels, hostels or inns before I chose and book one.

I read reviews on nice restaurants, cheap restaurants, good food.

I also read reviews of some products I buy.

My husband read a lot of reviews about gadgets and musical instruments especially on guitars.

But back on my losing weight, I just noticed it this week. And hopefully when I weigh (If I would have the guts) it would only prove what I noticed.

Being away from home makes me lose weight. Yey!

Tell me what you do when you miss home?

because I've just said a while ago that I'm missing home..I don't need to dwell on that right?

and one of the best thing I know to not be as sad and homesick as I can be is to work. So I will work till I get tired and till I have no more time to think of that homesickness.

First order of the day is to check my emails, check facebook and read about muscle milk reviews. Hubby doesn't need it and so am I but maybe a friend can use the info someday.

I haven't checked my facebook account for quite sometime now so I'll do that later.

This would probably the second to the last of my chance to do internet so I'll be grabbing the opportunity. And besides, it eats time and boredom.

Be safe evreyone!

Missing HOME

And even if Sabah is pretty much the same with the Philippines, there is still no place like home.

And though I am still enjoying the work here, to tell you honestly. I'm missing home terribly.

I miss the familiar faces.

I miss our house already.

The room, the comfort of your own bed. Simple things and luxuries you take for granted while you're there it means a lot here.

I miss the familiar food.

I just miss home.

Still praying for someone to call me mommy, for that bundle of joy to come.

And it is so comforting to know that a lot of people are praying with us. Somehow the pain has lessened when we are being introduced to people we meet for the first time, saying that we still don't have a baby.

We are turning four on April 21. And I am not getting any younger, sometimes the hope fades and sometimes I get tired of dreaming but God is restoring me and He strengthens me from time to time.

I know someday I'll be able to go to baby's section too in the malls, I'll be able to taste the best prenatal vitamins that friends talk about, someday I'll be able to hear someone's heartbeat on my own body too.

Someday, someone will call me "mommy" too.

We are

still here somewhere in Sabah, Malaysia..both me and hubby. Here are some pictures we took on our first week...although most of what we do here is ministry so personal pictures are limited.

We will be here for two weeks more and untill then posts here shall be limited and I just want to say sorry for not visiting your sites while we are here, our hands are full at the moment, studying the culture and the language and internet connnection is very limited.

But I do hope you will still visit my site every now and then. And I do hope I can bring home everyone each personalized soccer balls as pasalubong but that's not possible of course. We miss everyone of you there though.

See you when I see you!!!

Addiction and coffee

Hi everyone! First I would like to sau sorry for this blog will not be updated asI am often as I used to before because for so many reason. One, I am currently out of the country and second, Internet to where I am now is not as available like there in Manila. But I promise to update at least once or twice a week.

Life is different here, I m still on the adjustment period and I know I am coping well. Weather is even more humid, there is no pork available in all the grocery store and I'm missing it badly, life is simplier because we are curently staying in the province.

One good thing though (except for knowing that you are doing God's will) is the coffee. You see, there are several coffees here and I am loving it! Even the ordinary coffee (*same brand fromManila) tastes even much better. I do not know why though.

So yes, I am addicted to coffee, I think I already said that here many times. Well, at least am not addicted to some prohibited drugs or the like. And I don't need to go to any rehab center for my addiction. Speaking of rehab, have you heard of Steve Tyler being sent to rehab center because of painkiller addiction? I do not know you can be addicted to such. Was he sent to Passages Malibu Addiction Cure Center ? Because I also know some celebrities going there, so it must be good, I read that in Passages Malibu, you'll get to be treated very well, they will get into the bottom of the addiction itself and treat the underlying cause of the addiction. See some Passages Malibu video if you have time so you would know how it is.

I'm glad I am only addicted to coffee and right now I am enjoying my cup of coffee here with me.

Till my next post people!!

How time flies indeed. We are already on the third month of the year.

Fire prevention month - And since it's overly hot, we should all take the necessary precaution. i haven't heard any fire news recently (maybe because I really do not have access on news there because I'm in a far away land as of this writing)

Graduation month - My oldest nephew graduated elementary last year, had I known about graduation announcements designs I should have given some. I don't have any nephew or niece graduating this year so maybe I can use those next year.

I still do not know what March will bring us. I'm expecting and hoping for something special. Well, actually something special already happened because we flew some distance from home and will be away for a month. SO I guess..I could say

March - special month for us.
