I don't know but I feel so low today..gusto kong umiyak ng umiyak

I wish I knew what's wrong or maybe I don't wanna admit lang what's wrong.

or it can be because napapagod na maraming aspeto

or baka dahil din naman sa mga pinag gaga-gawa ko..

My version of "sopas"

Last Sunday, habang si Frank ay nananalasa sa Maynila, I obliged my self to do this with hubby's encouragement and cheering of course. I put some hotdogs because we had no sausage at that time, ayun naging reddish sha, but over all masarap pa rin naman daw according to Rudolf..siempre otherwise di ko na sha ipagluluto. haha!

Talk about having our own house someday

We are going to Cogeo this Sunday, it’s actually my first time to visit my cousins abode since she got married. Four couples except for Jomer who is the only single in the group are coming and sure it will be fun! J-mie and Vhon who is now engaged but the official announcement will be on Sunday also, Carmel & Andrew who just got married last June are also coming plus me and my hubby. Venus and her boyfriend are not yet sure. Most of us are now married and some are seriously planning of getting married.

So from a not so serious types of discussion before, we now talk about married life, things we want for our family, kitchen appliances and the most discussed topic – home loans. I noticed how each couple wants to have their own house someday. Jerlyn and Lester who now resides in Georgia actually took the time of doing a site visit when they were here. They went to as far as San Pedro,Laguna for house hunting. We all get excited when we think of us living in one neighborhood and yes I expect more discussion about this again when we meet Sunday.

I don’t know, hubby and I have not decided about it yet, part of me wants to have a house somewhere in Laguna but my work is here in Manila, a part of me also wants to buy a house from Cabanatuan City. Sometimes I just miss my life in the province. Oh well, I still have three years to think about it and decide.

David Archuleta Fan

Guess what? American Idol has long been over but…

One of my officemate loves David Archuleta to the max. Everyday she listens to his songs or the songs he sang during the American Idol competition, as in everyday and unfortunately she is just on the other side of my wall partition and I can not understand why she has to make the music loud enough for all of us to hear.

And when you listen to the same song everyday over and over again..grrrr. You just wanna jump over and turn the speakers off.

I’m not used to having music here in the office unless the boss is not around, and besides with her music so loud I doubt If I can hear my own music playing.

Do you think I suggest she get headset?? Mind your own music nga naman di ba? Susme! Memorize ko na yata ang Imagine.

Imagine there's no

In times like this

We went to grocery store last night, I actually had no intention of going but realizing that we do not have almost anything at home, I drag my self to. And as we are picking up from the shelves the things we need, we kept on mumbling about the price hike of every item. These are tough times indeed, and though the government recently approved a salary increase of 20.00 pesos per day if I’m not mistaken, that would not make any difference at all.

So I understand if every employee has to make an instant payday loan and I wish every company offer such for their employees. In US, you can just go to internet and search for sites that offers cash advance and in no time you’ll have the cash you so badly needed. Some even have an overnight approval. Quite easy.

We were actually talking about cash advance here in the office yesterday, I pity this guy who cannot make cash advance because he has a previous suspension due to tardiness months ago. I was just wondering why he can’t be given that privilege when he was already punished for his tardiness. And this guy is making the cash advance because he needs it badly, I think he mentioned he will use it to repair their roof which was damaged by the typhoon Frank.

Tough times indeed and in times like this, yes belt tightening is important, saving is important.

Prayer for the MV Princess of the stars fatalities and survivors

Prayer for the MV Princess of the stars fatalities and survivors.

Dear God, we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
I encourage everyone to keep the prayer going.

I’m tagging everyone in my bloglist and let’s us all witness the power of prayer.

How has the internet made wonders to your social life?

Coffe Break 1.24

One thing I’ll never forget and regret is joining an online community of brides to be. Weddings at Work really helped me a lot on our wedding preparation and not only that I gained some online friends where you talk about common things and concerns. And of course after that moving to Newlyweds at work is another wonderful thing made possible by the Internet. I learned and still learning a lot in the internet world, as of today I have at least hundreds of blogger friends whom I share my everyday life, and it doesn’t matter where they are as long as there is an internet connection, we’re connected. I have friends on the internet that inspired me a lot to do better.

I think not only it made wonders to our social life but to other aspects of our lives too. Technology now a day is so advanced that you can practically do everything online. You can buy stuff on line, you can do grocery on line, you can sell goods online, you can do meetings and conferences on line, you can book a hotel or resort online, you can do bank transactions on line, you can even get insurance quotes online. The list is endless. But let us not forget that the list of risks is endless too.

How much are your monthly utilities?

This topic was up last week in my egroup, everyone seems participated, well not really everyone but most of the moms gave their budget monthly, was quite shocked about someone who pays as high as 42,000 pesos for the nanny. Yes, you read it right and not only that, maids get big salaries too, as big as those who work in the office.

But of course, there is nothing wrong with that as long as they can afford it why not? and if it’s for the best of the baby, again why not? If I have all the resources I’ll probably give the same. How I wish.

Of course, compared to what I’m spending monthly, theirs are way way bigger. I know I am so different from them because our set-up is not common, but still I feel so blessed to be given the privilege to have a nice place to live, (compared to below average). We don’t have monthly utilities like the usual stuff, electricity, phone and water, even the Internet connection I’m using at home is a blessing. The only monthly bill I’m paying is the cable connection which is 500.oo a month and yes the credit card bills where the biggest chunk of my income goes to.

I’m learning to become responsible and a good steward of all the blessings God has given us, someday I know we have to move on and get out of our comfort zone, life would be very different so I’m trying to spend wisely as much as I can and save. And when it is time for us to face those monthly bills I‘ll know what to do. Hopefully.

Angel from up above?

Hubby took these pictures, can't exactly remember when, I was totally amazed, I must admit he's much much better than me when it comes to photography :) we both plan to take up basic lessons to someday.

he said, he thought he saw some angels out there :) haha!

I think he went to the roof to have a good view of those clouds.

God's wonderful creation captured from hubby's eyes one lazy day right there in our home.

Rest day

Had a rest day again yesterday, thanks to "Manila Day" celebration. But just the same, I woke up early because it was Tuesday, devotion day for the center folks and besides I am scheduled to go to SSS to apply for an ID. Sayang lang kasi I was there in SSS JP Rizal as early as 8AM pero wala na palang ID dun..according to the security guard I can have it applied either sa Manila or sa Pasig daw..sayang ang punta ko ng maaga.

But in spite of that, I was still able to pull a very productive day. Major cleaning ako and you wouldn't believe me super dami kong naalis na trash sa amin. satisfying naman after, kahit nakakapagod.

at 4 PM, me and my newlywed friend Carmel, headed to Diviland, we bought the backpacks for Hannah's lootbags and the lootbags items as well.

It wasn't really a rest day after all but it's ok. I feel satisfied naman.

After the storm

Happy Monday morning! oh yes, it is still a good monday morning even after that typhoon. The sun is shining and everyone seems so busy cleaning up and everyone has a smile on their face (at least from all the people I saw this morning) It's one of the best attitude we Filipinos have, "to rise after the storm".

But still let us not forget those who are still suffering specially the families of the passengers of the MV princess of the stars, those who are still flooded and those who are still in the evacuation area. Say a prayer for them please.

Yesterday for me was a complete REST DAY. I slept most of the day and had a feast, Hubby got me to into cooking "sopas" which was the only thing I did. Sunday worship was canceled because our "tent of meeting" was down but of course worshiping God alone can never be cancel even in the midst of strongest typhoon.Thank God we are all safe.

Just wanna share you some lyrics from this song which is one of my favorites..

"When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father you are King over the flood
I will be still, know you are God"

party planning

I guess I’m beginning to really like party planning, another friend from our church asked my help again in organizing their daughter’s 7th birthday party. In a way I’m happy that somehow they do like what I am doing, but doing this as a business? Probably not yet at this time. Compare to those party planners from my e-group, They are so good! I love their creations. I have yet to learn a lot about this thing. Actually, I was supposed to attend a balloon seminar this Saturday but I made an earlier commitment with some of my friends. But definitely, I’m taking that seminar soon. I’ve been watching DIY balloon videos in youtube and tried some of them and it was nice.

Was surprised though how pricey those party stuff are, like those styro backdrop and all, oh yes they are nice and beautiful but I think an average family here cannot afford to have such in their parties. What with the rising gas prices everyday. I’m convincing hubby to make one of those because I know he can do it, he made the stryo backdrop in my nephews’ pokemon party. I was actually telling him he can earn extra bucks by doing so.

Sometimes, I think I’m pushing ourselves too hard to have some extra cash and savings, specially myself. I’ve been working too hard I know. Who wouldn’t anyway? If you have big dreams like having your own house, trips abroad and buying that big car with auto car insurance of course.

I'll wait and see, right now I have just to enjoy helping friends in their kids parties, labor of love as they say but who knows someday I’ll get something big out of it.

This broke my heart

Once in a while na lang ako manood ng TV, I just had a glance while waiting for hubby last night and saw this horrible news. I was shocked, I cried and I nearly threw up. Why in the world will someone threw a newborn baby out of moving taxi..and out of a high window? or in a canal?

You may read the whole story here.

Come to think of we are, praying and trying so hard to have a baby..and there are people out there who had it but didn't even like it.

More than the babies, I pity the mothers because I know somehow it will be in their minds, that somehow the guilt feeling will be with them. I just hope they find courage to repent and ask forgiveness. The babies? well they are angels now I guess.

Coffee break 1.23

How would you reward yourself after a long day at work?

A coffee at home and a good massage from hubby. Sometimes just talking to him and letting him know what happened during the day, reward na for me. It has been pretty hard at the office this past few days and sometimes I just wanna cut the day short and go home early.

Sunset at Puerto Galera (truly relaxing)

But if i worked on different project or like a big event I reward myself something big din, like our puerto galera trip last June 8 was a reward from the hardwork of organizing the church anniversary and a friend's wedding.

of being offended

You got to read this guys, it is so true..:) once in a while I'm being offended too so I am thankful that I got this in my e-mail this morning, served as my reminder.

"A brother offended is harber to be won than a strong city"
(NASB - Proverbs 18:19)

James was a grocery clerk who started, with a capital of $65, to peddle cheese from a one-horse wagon. To say he was a dismal failure would be kind. James continued to push himself but grew deeper in debt. He was young and inexperienced, so he sought the advice of a wise Christian friend.

"You haven't included God in your business," his friend observed. "You haven't let Him take over the work - you've only asked Him to be part of it. That's not how God works."

This sent the young clerk into a tailspin. James was gripped with mixed emotions. He was offended that such a judgment be laid on him. At the same time, he was struck by his friend's blunt honesty. It was a pivotal moment for him.Days passed as the young clerk prayed and pondered. Finally he crossed a line in the sand. He wrote his friend, saying, "If God wants to run this cheese business, He can do it. I'll work for Him." And this is what he did.

From that moment on, God became the senior partner in his business, the chief Person consulted in every decision. A chair was left open in meetings, reminding key staff of His presence. Over the months the business grew and prospered. It eventually became the largest cheese company in the world. James L. Kraft pivotal decision made all the difference in the Kraft Chesee Company.

Unfortunately, it's easy to miss the opportunity to recognize and take positive action in a pivotal moment. You may remember hearing the name James Huberty back in the mid-1980s. He made the cover of magazines nationwide for one tragic reason: He was the mastermind behind the "McDonald's massacre." He walked into a McDonald's restaurant with an automatic weapon and gunned down more than twenty people in San Ysidro, California. A SWAT team showed up moments later and killed him, which was his goal - he didn't have the guts to commit suicide. When it was all over, bloodstains splattered the red-and-white tile of the restaurant. More than two dozen people had been murdered.

The store no longer serves hamburgers to local residents. It now stands as a memorial to the lives lost that day. What makes this especially heartbreaking is that James Huberty mishandled a pivotal moment. After being released from his job, he became angry with his supervisor, his family and himself. A colleague tried to encourage him. Sensing Huberty's anger, the friend pleaded with him to let his anger go. He urged him to surrender the issue to the Lord and trust Him to begin a whole new chapter in his life.

Sadly, Proverbs 18:19 proved true: "A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city". James Huberty never allowed his bitterness to be dissolved.
How many church members are like this? Something or someone offends them in the church and they allow that offense to fester until a root of bitterness grows in their hearts that defiles them. Instead of dealing with the offense in loving dialog and forgiveness, they huff and puff leaving the church full of accusations against the pastor, the leaders and other members - accusations that are, by and large, false.

Following this, they band together with other offended people and form a "bible study" where all they do is justify their offense before each other and pretentiously study the bible vainly attempting to display sincere and surrendered hearts. It will never work, of course, because the Spirit of God will never show up where offense is the basis of such gatherings.

Or they move to another church where they claim it is more anointed than the one they left. But they carry with them the same spirit of offense that is unresolved in their hearts so whatever anointing they perceived in these other churches will never break through into their spirits that are marred by the offense that they carry around with them all the time. They have become victims trapped in and controlled by the spirit of offense like James Huberty.

These disgruntled and deceived people have lost a golden opportunity for a pivotal moment that could have led to their climbing higher in victory in Christ Jesus. Instead, they decided to be offended and take a journey to despair, desperately attempting to justify their tragic decision.

So, people of God - BEWARE OF BEING OFFENDED AND BEWARE EVEN MORE OF ASSOCIATING, LISTENING TO AND BANDING WITH OFFENDED PEOPLE. It can only lead to your own spiritual downfall and many years of bondage in this dark demonic spirit of offense that will only drive one to a "McDonald's Massacre" experience, even spiritually.

PRAYER: "Dear Lord, please help me to be free from the spirit of offense especially from a sister or brother in the church. Help me to be loving, forgiving and understanding and not easily offended. Allow me, O Holy Spirit, to be discerning of pivotal moments in my life that You allow in order to enable me to climb higher in victory rather than grovel in offense that will only lead to my own destruction and defeat. Enable me, O Lord, to be wise in Your ways, to be submitted to Your will and to discern the work of the enemy who comes to kill, to steal and to destroy. Give me victory over any offense that the devil may try to magnify in the situations and circumstancs that I face in life, in the work place, with family and friends and with my church. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen"

just a thought..

after bloghopping to some of my favorite blogsite, I notice that everyone seems to have a post about father's day and I on the other hand have none from both of my blogs. so this maybe a bit late but still I wanted to post about the 2 most important men in my life.
I can't say he's the perfect one, he's far from being perfect pa nga, but I love him so much. I love him because he showered me with so much love, being the youngest in the family I was always the object of his affection and I can always make lambing to him. I love him because he supported me in every decision in my life and he never ever scolded me when that decision turned out to be not the best one. I love him when I see him how he adores his grandkids. I just hope he would still be around when we have our own baby. I texted him last sunday and told him I love him and he excitedly shared me the good news that he got his own motorbike already.. :)MY HUBBY
he is yet to be a father, but witnessing how he love his family, I know he'll be good dad, seeing him how he take good care of his pet and of course me..there is no doubt that he'll be a wonderful father to our would be children..and can I just say he love kids so much? I am witness to how he served to urban poor kids in Maricaban,Pasay City, even when we were not married yet, he loved every single kid no matter how dirty they are, how bad their odors are, he will just hug them when they come to him. I am so blessed to have him to be the father of our future kids.

We didn't have any celebration for the father's day yesterday but at the church service we gave some mugs for the fathers.. and of course I also greeted the best FATHER one could ever have. Our father in heaven. :)

There is hope

I just want to thank Mec for sharing me this story. I was like crying while reading her post. and as I've told her I was overwhelmed with hope and faith renewed that if God wants it then He can by all means defy whatever the science and the doctors of medicine are telling us.

Another reason of this new found hope, Mari, a good blogger friend who is also TTC is pregnant now, Isn't that enough reason to rejoice and be glad and hope that our own bundle of joy is also coming soon. I trust the Lord who is mighty to save and who is able to do things immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine.

Unsecured personal loan-is this the answer??

We got good feedbacks yesterday on our t-shirts, as you all know me and hubby has this sideline of silkscreen printing. We both needed sideline. And I am thankful for opportunities to earn extra money online. Because as of now that’s the only sideline I could do. I’m still finding ways to earn more because I wanted to pay all those credit card bills. I know I won’t be able to pay them all this year but maybe in two more years. And I’m hoping I’ll be debt free by then. Its hard to pay interest and charges specially when it so high like of those credit card company.

In other countries, getting personal loans with lower interest charge can help you. I wish there is an available Unsecured Personal Loan here so I can check what would suit us. offers such where you can get a loan with no collateral and with low to no documents needed. And it’s online so you can be approve online too within 24 to 48 hours. Such a breeze no?

But of course anyone who wants to get a loan as I always always say must be responsible too, it’s like credit card, you should know it’s a loan and its due for paying like what I am trying to do now.
